Kamiak Dining Room

The Kamiak Dining Room is in the classic craftsman style with large component members, graceful arches, and scaled to please the eye. Available in quarter sawn white oak or black cherry, this substantial dining set will be the topic of discussion at your dinner parties. The trestle table shown is 42" wide and 76" long in the closed position. It can open up to 120" and is 106" long when the two 15" leaves are installed. The leaves store out of the way and out of site in the table. Of course, as with all our furniture, the table can be custom-sized to the customer's needs.

Both the Kamiak Side and Arm Chairs are 42" tall with a seat height of 17". The Side Chair is 20" wide at the front and the Arm Chair is 23".  The Kamiak Chair cushion uses a glove-soft recycled leather cover over a muslin-wrapped 2" medium foam pad, all resting on an elast-a-belt woven wood frame. These are very comfortable and beg you to stay seated, the dishes can wait!

As usual, our chairs like the trestle table, are of all mortise and tenon construction. Built to last several lifetimes, yours and the children you pass it down to.

Valleyford Hutch
This attractive piece is equally at home in your dining room displaying your fine china or as a display case for your cherished keepsakes. The tapered door muntins combine with the tongue & groove rear panel and front doors to give this piece a very unique and interesting look. The high bottom stretchers also contribute to the look by giving it a light visual presentation.

The hutch sits 73 inches tall, 40 inches wide, and 16 inches deep. The top glassed compartment is 45 inches tall and contains two glass shelves. The bottom compartment is 18 inches tall. 

All glass panels are removable to facilitate thorough cleaning.

The Valleyford Hutch is available in quarter-sawn white oak, sapele, or black cherry (shown).


Flathead Valley Dining Room
The Flathead Dining Room is a sturdy, yet minimalist ensemble.   Clean and fresh lines lead your eye to the beauty and character of the ​wood. This version of the table extends over 100" long and holds up to 48" of leaves while

resting securely on a keyed through-tenon mortised trestle. The chair seats are extremely comfortable, covered in recycled leather over two inch foam, and rest on an elasta-belt web foundation . These beautiful chairs are true mortise & tenon construction.

This beautiful set is available in quarter-sawn white oak, sapele, or black cherry (shown).

Penawawa Sideboard
Don't want a full-sized hutch in your dining area? The Penawawa sideboard might be just the answer. Measuring 44" tall, 20" deep, and 60.5" wide, it's a substantial piece with storage for all your serving and dinnerware. Behind each door is a plate compartment with adjustable shelf. As always the drawers are dovetailed hard maple and ride on waxed hardwood runners. Additionally, the top is grooved for displaying your special plates.

Kamiak Dinette
The Kamiak Dinette combines graceful curves with strong lines which give it a purposeful feel without being heavy and overly ornate. You will be convinced this set came from the early 1900's and the design lets the character of the quarter-sawn oak shine through.

​Kamiak Dinette Table




​The Kamiak Dinette Table mirrors other pieces of the Kamiak family. At 40" in diameter, the 1-1/8" thick table top rests on a gracefully-curved, four-spline pedestal and is 30" tall. The table size can be adjusted to the customer's needs.

​The Kamiak Chair



The Kamiak Dining Chair is constructed of oversized legs and aprons with a unique back splat that is not only attractive but very comfortable. The seating is a cross-weaved elastic strap foundation supporting 2" firm foam, and covered by leather of the customer's choice.

Thera Dining Room
This beautiful dining ensemble is strongly influenced by the works of Charles & Henry Greene, most notably the dining table designed by Charles Greene for the Henry Robinson House, Pasadena CA, circa 1906. This beautiful trestle table is fully customizable to your desired length and width. Available to accompany the table are  side chairs, arm chairs, or benches, all available in mahogany, sapelli, or cherry with ebony splines and plugs.

Thera Dining Table

This beautiful piece is a classic trestle design. It's comprised of two components, the table top and base trestle. The components are easily separated for transport.

The base trestle is constructed from 6 quarter and 8 quarter materials, mortised, and connected via tenons for a lifelong fit. The tabletop is a full 1 inch thick and constructed of dimensional lumber pieces joined via mortise & tenon and then planed flat.

The Thera Chair


Like it's matching dining table and bench, the Thera dining chair is available  in cherry (shown) , mahogany, or Sapele (shown below) The chair back is 48 inches tall with the seat resting 17 inches above the floor. The back supports are designed to provide excellent lumbar comfort with superb lateral support. 

The side chair is 17 inches wide across the seat front. The arm chair is an ample 19-1/2 inches. the arms are tall enough to give excellent lower arm support yet tuck nicely under the table with the chair in the unused position. The V-shaped arms mirror the tapered components seen in the chair backs and table trestle, all representing the David Gamble House window grids.

Many hours of design and prototyping went into these chairs resulting in them being one of the most comfortable you'll ever sit in.

Made of sapelli, this very comfortable leather-seated dining chair sports a gracefully-profiled set of vertical slats that provide outstanding back support and invite you to stay seated long after dinner is over.

Custom Buffet

Standing 40 inches tall, 40 inches wide, and 16 inches deep this customer-designed piece is perfect for the small dining room. The maltese cross doors, trough-tenons, and ebony plugs give it a unique appearance. The top is 1-1/8 inch curly cherry while the balance plain-sawn. It contains three shelves and is in our Vintage Cherry finish
